If you wanna get the path where exe file is  running from

windows forms:

      Application.StartupPath();

wpf:

      AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory;
or
      String appStartPath  = System.IO.Path.GetDirectoryName(Process.GetCurrentProcess().MainModule.FileName);
