SQL Server Import Excel: Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered on the local
If you are trying to import or just open an excel file and you are getting follwoing error:
Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine.
Then you shpould chek first if the 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components are properlu installed on your computer.
To ensure old 32bit applications are running correctly i had to install both 32 and 64 bit Versions
